The grip on the Tilt Twist Tiller makes it easy to control speed and steering by hand--or use the foot pedal from a seated position. Designed to take up little room on the boat, the Pontoon 55 features a compact footprint and works in concert with a Quick Release Bracket for easy depth adjustment and removal. Thanks to its Weedless Wedge 2 Prop, the motor can get through marshy patches without getting stuck or draining the battery--and the motor's cool, quiet power keeps you running without excess heat or noise to spook the fish. Finally the Deploy-Assist Lever puts you in motion with a simple press of the lever. Built to last, the Pontoon 55 is equipped with MinnKota's indestructible composite shaft----guaranteed for life not to break, kink or corrode.
